Celebrate the Fourth this year with some old fashioned family fun at the historic Strawbery Banke Museum in Portsmouth...

July 4, 2011   10 am - 5 pm.

In addition to the annual children's bike and wagon parade, the giant kite fly, live music, food, games and fun for all, there are some new additions this year:

  • Tour a Gundalow River Boat
  • Visit an Active Shipyard
  • Onsite Archaeology Excavation

Granite State Whale Watch  -  The Isles of Shoals Fireworks Cruise

A sunset cruise with a narrated tour of all nine islands (learn about buried treasure, Shoals Marine Lab, the ghost of Smuttynose, White Island Lighthouse, and wildlife that make their home on the islands) and then it's off to Hampton to watch the fireworks.
