13th Annual CASA SnowFest At Loon Mountain...February 1, 2013

13th Annual CASA SnowFest at Loon Mountain NH...February 1st, 2013!

On Friday February 1st, 2013, CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate for Abused and Neglected Children) will be having its 13th Annual SnowFest at Loon Mountain, NH.

This fun filled day long event will feature golf on skis...that's right...golf on skis, breakfast, lunch at the Common Man in the Governor's Pavilion and après ski party with raffle prizes and award ceremony. The entry fee for a foursome is $400 or you can sign up individually for $105 and they will place you on a team. Click here to reserve your spots for teams and individuals now!!!

Sound goofy? You bet it is, but the most fun you can have with your snow pants ON!!!

Sponsors of the event are Loon Mountain, WMUR - TV, WOKQ 97.5, The Common Man Restaurants, and many more! Click here to see other levels of sponsorship available for this event!!!

CASA is a national organization of volunteers who advocate in our court system for abused and neglected children all across the country. In New Hampshire alone, 1000 children each year are victims of physical or sexual abuse, neglect or abandonment. CASA volunteers have direct involvement in the courts to help these children find the respite they need. As a volunteer, each CASA Guardian ad Litem (GAL) works only in "the best interest of the child" and the court system appreciates and respects CASA's recommendations.

Of course, the need for resources far exceeds the volunteers and financial capacity available. If you are interested in becoming a CASA GAL, or would like to help in any way please visit http://www.casaforchildren.org/ or in New Hampshire http://www.casanh.org/

I am very proud of the work done by my wife Chris as a CASA GAL and her many CASA associates here in New Hampshire I have come to know and respect over the years. This is truly a worthwhile organization.

Hi John,

Snow golf is cool, no really COOL.

I would rather golf when it's 70 degrees. LOL

I hope you have a good time at the CASA SNOW FEST.

Have a great day today in North Hampton.

Best, Clint McKie

Hi Clint ~ Hope all is well down your way. This event is a blast and receives plenty of media coverage from radio and TV because of it, and that also shows in the quality of the sponsors! Thanks for stopping by.

Oh Barbara ~ We sure do! The drifts are amazing and 4-5' high. The real accumulation is probably around 20". Hope all is well and thank you so much for stopping by!  :-)))
